Michael Hedges "Because It's There" on solo guitar with the Boss SY-1000 (No Talking)
For those who (like me) can't stand the sound of my voice, this is the performance-only (no talking) version of a video I made explaining how I use the Boss SY-1000 guitar synth to play Michael Hedges' classic harp-guitar piece "Because It's There" on "normal" guitar. My attempt at re-creating Michael Hedges' harp guitar masterpiece "Because It's There" with a Godin ACS guitar and the Boss SY-1000. Not sure if my incoherent rambling adds much to the proceedings, but hopefully the playing is OK. There is nothing pre-recorded, everything is played live through the SY-1000, with a single loop (heard at the very opening) captured by an RC-500 looper.

Another one for the contemporary classical guitar aficionados! As far as I can tell, this is the only publicly available recording of Tod Machover's piece "Déplacements" for guitar and tape. It's an early work (composed in 1979) by a major American composer, but you will find very little reference to it in the literature on the contemporary classical guitar.
